iPhone 8 unable to verify iOS 16.7.13 update

To the best of my knowledge, Apple has not, as of 9 AM Eastern time in US, re-released an updated version. The old version was removed by Apple. When it is re-released you’ll need to delete the old version if downloaded, restart your device, and download the new version, when available. It may not be until early next week before an updated version is available.

Please read the thread you’re posting in. Your question has been answered several times already. I’ll share my last reply for your convenience.

The update is no longer signed by Apple due to a problem with a cell provider in Australia, so you cannot update to that version. It will still show on your device as available, but you are not able to install it. You will just need to wait and it may be the case that another point update will be pushed out and you would then see that one as available and if you have Automatic Updates turned on, it will be installed automatically. Just continue on and use your device like you always have, your phone is not in jeopardy because the update is not installed.

Apple is once again signing iOS 12.5.8, iOS 15.8.6, and iOS 18.7.4, so these can once again be installed. iOS 16.7.13 remains unsigned, suggesting Apple has determined the issue is limited to only that release.

Did you see my reply above that mentioned that there have been some problems with the update (Apple is aware of this) and you should try again in a 2-3 days?

You need to do a Force Restart.

• Press and quickly release Volume Up
• Press and quickly release Volume Down
• Press and HOLD side button until the Apple logo appears. This could take up to 15 seconds while holding the Side button before you see the Apple logo and you have to ignore anything else on the screen. If you do not see the Apple logo, then try again as it may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct.

There have been some problems with the update. Apple is aware. Wait 2-3 days and try again.

I am having that same problem too, I have iPhone 8 Plus and I did the same thing that most of you all have done, like resetting power off, reboot, delete the download and reinstall download then clicked install, same results every time.
