When I prompt my Apple device with “Siri”, I get an immediate alert sound response which interrupts my question to Siri. How can I turn off that sound without affecting all my other sounds?

After you say Siri or Hey Siri, you are pausing. Don't pause. Simply say Siri what's the temperature outside? If you say Siri.........what's the temperature outside, you'll get the prompt you don't want.
