iPhone 16 volume buttons are stuck and require pressure

Hello ! I have a problem with my Iphone16 . Suddenly with proper use and not from a fall or something , the sound buttons are kinda stuck and they are not working properly. You have to put a little pressure to volume up or down . For now I'm using the volume up and down from the control center , has anyone faced a problem like this before ?

Thank you in advance

Take your iPhone to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider for examination. Fixing a physical problem is not something we can help with or that you can do yourself. If you have AppleCare active it may be repaired without charge. Sticking buttons almost always means contamination of some sort.

Hi, do you have a case on your device. If so, please remove the case and try the buttons again. If that does resolve the issue, it’s probably caused by physical contaminants around the volume buttons. I’ve seen this many times. If you need assistance cleaning your device please contact Apple Support using the links below.

I took some calls ,but I will go tomorrow .I live in Greece so I don't have many options and unfortunately I don't have AppleCare . Also I have the guarantee because I bought it on April 2025 so probably I won't be charged. I wanted to ask too , does Apple give you another borrowed device while you don't have your smartphone or there is no chance ?

My understanding is it varies by country and region. Generally, Apple Authorized Service Providers do not have loaners available in most cases. But it never hurts to ask. I don’t have specific information on Greece and I don’t remember anyone mentioning it in the communities before. Contact Apple Support via the links I provided and they can verify if loaners are available.
