iPod Touch won't turn on !!

I have an 8 GB iPod Touch and it does not turn on, it was working and it just went off and won't turn on. I tried to connect it to iTunes but it is still the same.

Does anyone know what's wrong and how do you fix it ?

I have the solution from an apple representative:

First try to start iTunes and plug in the iPod Touch.

If you see the charging icon, you are fine; wait for it to charge, it will turn on by itself.

If it is still dead:

Fully charge it.

Open iTunes and connect the iPod

Press and hold power and home button for ten seconds -

Then keep pressing just the home button while connected to iTunes

This gives the message: “iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode”.

Do you want to restore? Then follow instructions to do a clean restore.

All is fixed with this hard reset.🙂

The fixes are:

Hold the home and power button (A force shut down) and you should see the apple logo...

Hold the home and power button until you see a blink or some sort of white out, then leave the power button and keep holding iTunes!

Plug it in a power source if it turns on GOOD!

Sorry for all the users of the wonderful iTouch stuck out there..

ok,

heres a method that should work for 70% of your problems, problems differ ok

1. plug your idevice into a power source preferably computer

2. you may have heard of this before, hold the home and power button at the same time for 10 seconds

then continue holding the home button but release the power button and hold for as long as it takes for your

idevice to reboot

Hope it Helps 😀
