iPod Touch won't turn on !!

my ipod does the same thing it won't tern on. I plug it in to the computer and it will charge for a while and the apple logo will apeir then it will go

Basically, I used an iPad mini wire. My wire turned out to be defective after a short use of time. Some one else told me that many iPod 5's were shipped with a bad wire. So, in the next week probabaly, I'm going to visit the store and im supposed to get a free new one. Hope this helps.

Many iPod 5th Generations were shipped with a wire that becomes deffective over a short period of time. I got mine on Christmas like many people did, and by the early day of April the wire stoppd working. I am currently using a iPad mini wire, but I'm visiting the apple store in the next few weeks, because you can get a new one for free.

I'm sorry to say this now, but you could have gotten a new wire for free. Was the new iPod 5 for free? Or did you have to pay $340? Many iPod 5's were shipped with defective wires that would stop working after a period of time. People who had or have this problem should visit the apple store, and you get a new free charger.

if ur ipod touch is not turning on hold the off button and the home button at the same tiome for aboput a minuite and it should come on

hi my ipod 4th gen screen is cracked and dosnt have a home button and with full charge it turned of yesterday and it hasnt turned back on im skeching out what do i do 😢

same with mine except my power button doesnt work and i just got it fixed a couple of days ago and it was acting up but i didnt think it meant anything til this morning when i woke up to plug in my ipod it would not turn on and it isnt being recognized in the USB port either and i do not know what to do especially because the power button does not work

Hi, my iPod touch 1G dropped hard on the ground and it could not be switched on after that. Tries the hard restart a few times but it didn't work. Tried DFU mode but the pop up error "......make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.' Keep showing up. What should I do?

i was doing Over the Air FW upgrade to latest version 6.1.3. My Battery was 52%. Update went fine.

After first reboot it was showing Apple Logo and it was restarting again and again. After some time if was complete blank and was not at all powering ON.

I tried to keep the IPOD charging on BOSE Docking Station, Tried Charging from wall charger. No Changes in symptom. Screen entirely blank

Its not at all detecting even in ITUNES. I even tried manually to enter recovery model using Home/Power/Home Buttons.

Can any one help.. THis was a jailbreak device earlier.

I read recently something about downsides to jailbreaking, and though I don't remember it specifically, I believe it may have been because it was jailbroken. Have you ever updated it before while it's been jailbroken?
