If you have feedback for Apple, you can post it here: Apple - Feedback

Here is the support article that explains it: Hide and unhide purchases in iTunes or iBooks on your Mac or PC - Apple Support

I also think this is stupid to not be able to permanently delete an app. We have all downloaded an app that is completely useless or just terrible that we would like to forget about. I don't want to be stuck with the trash from several years ago--I didn't want it then, why would I want it now? Just a horrible way to gum up the works and make things more complicated.

I ain't getting this until this is fixed. I don't want to be stripped out fully with all the ancient purchases that I made ever since the iPhone is released. That really *****. Apple to better fix this as many of the current iPhone users aren't going to e happy with this at all. I don't want to remove my device. I have my whole family using iPhones iPods and the iPad which is with one iTunes account and deleting the device doesn't help. I just want to be the administrator of what I want in which device.

I am a hard core fan of apple have all their products and in fact switched my entire office users to Mac. I didn't expect from apple who always comes out with the smartest product in the industry. Apple better get this fixed before the final release, before it hurts lot of your followers.

May I suggest that all respond to apple via their Feedback option.

I have done so as I regard the unrestricted publication of personal information (irrespective of its sensitivity) as a gross lack of personal information governance and have requested that Apple resolve this by either:

1. Only provide the unedited list after entering the individual Apple ID and Password on the device - per session

2. Provide an edit facility in iTunes to completely remove or delete unwanted items

The more people that pose feedback, the more likely it is that notice will be taken.

Apple have to sort this out, some users will have hundreds if not thousands of apps, this will make it unusable if you can't delete from the cloud! Also, here is an idea, apple can collect the data of apps that have been deleted and rank them accordingly, this is will be better than their current ranking system, as let's face it, most of us buy apps almost blind. Even with good reviews you still never sure if it's going to work for you until you have tried it. Showing a deletion ratio, I recon will be useful to us!

@RyanN96 I don't really believe that you'll go through the trouble to switch phones for this, iCloud is not even really fully available to access yet, you don't know what kind of control you'll have over the old apps. I'm sure you'll be able to delete apps once ios5 and icloud are officially released. I even read that it looks like we'll be able to finally merge 2 apple id's.

So stop being such a whiner, it's not like apple reads these threads and if they do, they're not going to be intimidated by your empty threat to leave them.
