So, when did your iPhone 6 Plus bend in your pocket?
For a Douglas Adams fan, you sure do have an odd sense of personal responsibility.
I have had mine in a case almost the entire time I have had my phone, only taken it out to show it to people briefly, and my phone is bent as well. It seems that the pressure from taking it out of the case the few times I did caused this bend. It seems cases will not be an end all answer for this problem.
Edit: I also do not put my phone in my pocket. It has it's own pocket in my purse with plenty of room. I have also not dropped it at all. No pressure has been put on it besides taking it out of the case.

so how about this. http://money.cnn.com/video/technology/2014/09/24/iphone-6-plus-bend.cnnmoney/
What about it?

It's impossible to say whether reports of bending iPhone 6 Pluses are a sign of a systemic design flaw, a defect in a limited number of devices or even a hoax. CNNMoney was not able to replicate the issue in several attempts to bend the iPhone 6 Plus.
Your point?
There are very few videos showing people bending the phone. Seems like a hoax. A build flaw would affect a very large percent of phones as opposed to so few isolated incedents. The tech companies putting up real videos show it's very are to make the phone even budge. if you can take the time to read forums, take the time to read other accredited sites With real info
It depends on your perception of everyday use. I for example have been putting my smartphone in my pocket in my pocket everyday for years.
Perhaps you don't but I do along with many others. This has not been an issue with other phones and phablets I have used. A big part of my purchasing criteria is a device fits in to my daily life.... If it does not it doesn't pass. The iPhone 6 plus reportedly has an issue with how I would use it. Therefore I won't be considering it until it fits with how I routinely use a smart phone. I don't feel I should adapt my behaviour for a 6 plus when other devices don't have the issues don't exhibit the same issue. I wanted an iPhone 6 plus but I won't be getting one until this issue is resolved.
Its quite simple and your assertion that all devices suffer the exact same issue is entirely baseless. We are not talking excessive force, we are dealing with something that falls quite clearly into day to day use. If this was not the case both the iPhone 6 and anyother similar device would have the same issue, but they don't.
I wouldn't expect a tablet to survive such treatment but a phone is a phone. Like I said defend as much as you like, but Apple being a responsive customer focused company will be looking for a solution even if you think your personal life style doesn't require the product to be changed. Apple ultimately will do what it needs to get the product in to the hands of the regular user. Happy as I am that you are content with your iPhone 6 plus it is off my grocery list until the issue is sorted.
Well, then you'll be out of the way for other's to get one "in their pockets." Oh and read this link:

You realize of course, that the article you quote says two of the reviewers both had bent iphone 6 plus's right?
ince then, follow-up videos have confirmed that iPhone 6 Plus can be bent when enough force is applied, but Apple insists this isn't something customers should be worrying about. But it ishappening, and not just to people clamoring for YouTube exposure. Wired's Mat Honan andBusiness Insider's Steve Kovach have both reported slight warping in the iPhones they've recently reviewed. For the record, our review unit iPhone 6 Plus exhibits no such issues.

I don't have a problem with waiting until its fixed. I am certain that plenty of people will be the queue ahead of me. I need a phone that works, I am happy enough with my current device, I don't need to change. I am OK with my life to make it a few more weeks/months without buying the latest tech. Not having a bendable iPhone 6 plus will not make me happier, more confirmed in my social position. If people want to beta test a device for me then great I am happy to benefit from the mistakes of others.
Sounds like Samsung once again at work trying to spread negative rumors on new Apple products. Happens every time Apple comes out with a hot product they fear. Just use some common sense and don't put a thin phone into a tight pant pocket without a rigid phone case.
No it does not. As this is the first apple device that has headed into phablets territory it isn't surprising that it has attracted attention. I see no evidence of a conspiracy, and Apple could debunk it with a statement. What will happen is that more iPhone 6 devices will be sold over the 6 plus. If people want a iOS device they will buy one if they want an android or windows device they will buy that. Its isn't difficult to understand, a possible issue with the 6 plus has been shown, Apple can confirm or deny or ignore. However it is enough for me to reconsider my options between a iPhone 6 or a iPhone 6 plus.
For the record I don't wear tight pants.
Apple has responded to the bending issue. Click the link below.
You must either be a Samsung plant, Uri Geller or the one in a million guy who received a bad production model 6+. You don't think Apple engineers and designers haven't stress tested the phone about a million times, their just gonna put a phone out that bends at the least little stress, get real.
Already pretty much de-bunked by Apple. But I understand your concern. Just keep in mind that Apple's competitors, especially Samsung, will do just about anything to hurt Apple's sales . Use common sense, Apple's engineers aren't just going to put out a phone that bends easily in your pocket, they have some of the best engineers in the World.
