Please capture the output of the following commands before the upgrade and after, and if there are any differences, Bootcamp will stop working.
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
Enter you password when prompted.

It is a very painful to see this inflicted on users by Apple. There is enough documentation on each of these threads for them to patch BC to make it work better.

Oct 23, 2014 6:31 AM in response to Loner Tby MacBelly-jr,Hi guys, in another thread i posted something that worked for me regarding this: Windows 7 partition gone after installing Yosemite. Below i copied my post and included a screenshot.
Hey guys,
I noticed I had the same problems because I got some error messages pertaining to NTFS-3G I had installed in combination with OS X Fuse (which I did not have installed any more some how). I use NTFS-3G to read NTFS formatted disks in my Mac, and Fuse is needed to extend OS X’s native file handling capabilities via third-party file systems (literally copied that from them ). After I installed Fuse I could see the Boot Camp disk logo on my Finder Desktop, was able to boot up Windows 7 through VMWare Fusion and through a normal Boot Camp restart (holding down the option key).
So for me this worked, maybe worth a shot for some of you. Good luck everyone!
