Loner T - I just wanted to take a minute to thank you. Between all the instructions and details you've provided across multiple threads, I was able to use the information to solve my issue which was that my Bootcamp Windows 8.1 partition was missing. I used TestDisk and Gdisk with your guidance and I can access my partition now. Thank you so much for spending all the time helping everyone here 🙂

I have just upgraded to Yosemite and I no longer have access to my windows 8.1 partition. It doesn't come up on the startup screen like it usually does. I have been reading most of the posts on this issue and I don't know what to do or how to fix it. I'm not very good with computers. I was hoping you can help me. I have some important school work inside that partition and my deadline is just around the corner, so this is pretty urgent. I would much appreciate if you can help me out!
