iPhone 6 Music Volume Drop After Notification

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8 (version 8.1). Usually, when I receive a notification while listening to music via headphones, the volume of the song drops slightly for the notification sound to alert me and then returns to normal. I've recently noticed that it often seems to get "stuck" in a low volume and either goes back to normal after waiting 3-10 minutes or when I receive another notification. Has anybody else had this problem? can anyone give suggestions on how to permanently fix this problem? Thanks!

i just noticed something...

when the ringer is not on silent and the facebook app is open the volume is decreased BUT as soon as i get ANY notification that plays a sound, after the sound is played the volume turns to normal again!

so the fb app is decreasing the volume but the notifications with sounds are restoring it (atleast for me).

AND... i also noticed that there is no change in normalcy of the volume is facebook app is launched when the ringer is already on silent!

so basically there is some code in fb app which is momentarily affecting the volume output (until a notification is played) and only if the ringer is not on silent.

This not just a FB app issue, it happens when any background notifications would go off...I have all notifications off & it still happens to me. I've begun fixing it myself by just sending myself a text message that just says Y. & it jumps back to normal volume. This def needs a fix but, based on some of the things offered as solutions the quick text yourself seems to work the quickest! Really dam annoying!

I am on IOS9 beta and this bug is still persistent on my iPhone 6 so looks like nothing is being done about it yet. I have submitted a bug report from within IOS9 so will have to wait and see. It's very annoying as I have my phone plugged into speakers to listen to all day at work using Apple Music and I am contastly having to adjust the volume every time a message or notifixation pops up.

No use. they will just close ur report saying that it is a duplicate. they are least bothered about fixing bugs before new releases. i am a developer and there are technologies introduced 4 years back like icloud that have seen 4 major OSes but not fixed the initial bugs.
