iPhone 6 Music Volume Drop After Notification

I Hope they fix this problem. I had the same issue with my iPhone 5 and now with the 6. As of right now the quickest fix I have found is hold the home button to call up Siri, then hit it again to exit out and the volume will go back up. At least that way you aren't going around closing out apps and stuff.

This has seems to always been an issue for the iPhone as evident by this post on stackexchange. apple will not fix this issue because we keep paying for substandard hardware and software. Anyway I to have reported it to apple via their bug report feedback page just like the thousands of other users before me and this ridiculous iPhone 6+. I think if it weren't for my extensive iTunes collection I would purchase an android or windows phone.

Yup same here. Happens on headphones and via USB cable in the car. Most annoying. Running latest IOS 8.4.1.

Yep - same problem here. Surely if there are multiple people having this issue (and can easily reproduce it), then Apple would be proactive in sorting it out?

Sadly, my last AppleCare chat had the analyst actually telling me it was a feature, not a bug. He clearly didn't understand the issue.

It has something to do with watching videos in other apps...

Ive noticed it when i watch videos on Facebook and then i try to listen to music the songs sound low, unless you fast forward or rewind the song a couple of seconds, it gives you your "normal" volume. But once the next song plays goes back down to low volume.

So i closed my Facebook app and re-opened it,(didn't watch videos) the volume problem was "fixed". all songs played with regular volume.

I have noticed that it's mostly because of Apps with Notification alerts. I go to app switcher and force close Facebook, Gmail or other apps which might have Push notifications. 99.99% of the time, volume returns after i force close FB. Hope this helps..Try reinstalling FB, Gmail.

I Think everyone on planet is facing this issue!

I myself am experiencing the same issue it's driving me insane, I have to close Facebook in order for the sound to return.

They need to address this issue the sad part is that in reading these post I haven't seen not one reply from Apple support.

Please fix this issue it should be as easy your taken our money, you should address this problem. 😠

For me, this issue persists after iOS 9 update.

IOS 9 didn't fix anything... This bug is still ON! .........

Same issue running iOS 9.0 on an iPhone 5C. I haven't been able to pin down what triggers it, but occasionally the volume on Apple Music will be dramatically lower than it should be. Going into Sound settings and adjusting the volume up/down, or once my phone receives another alert via another app will usually restore the volume to full volume.

Just upgraded to iOS 9.0.1, but have continually had this problem [using iPhone 6] with iOS 9. Haven't tried any of the solutions yet [turning off bluetooth, killing Facebook app, killing music app]. Hoping with the newest OS will get rid of it.
