My Apple Watch won't update

I'm trying to update my Apple Watch Sport model. It has more than 50% battery, I'm on WiFi, and it's plugged in and charging. I've tried restarting my iPhone and Watch and nothing happens. My phone says Installing on Apple Watch but nothing happens on my Watch. Once I put the passcode in on both devices, my phone just continues to say Installing but it's really not.

I can't update Apple Watch Series 2 to watch OS 3.2.2.

I reset the watch after it stopped working today and it started tracking my activity after but trying to install update 5 times with multiple reboots didn't work.

Either watch is faulty or software is half baked.

- Check that your iPhone is updated to iOS 9.

- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi (and preferably also to power).

- Keep your iPhone next to your Apple Watch to make sure they're in range.

- Connect your Apple Watch to power, and keep it on the charger until the update is complete.

- Ensure that your Apple Watch has at least a 50 percent charge before starting.

- Closing all other open apps on your iPhone may help (double-press Home button, swipe up on app previews to close).

- Restarting your Apple Watch and iPhone beforehand may also help.

To download and install the update: on your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and tap My Watch > General > Software Update - follow the instructions.

I have done everything all of you have suggested and still I can't even get the update. Tells me I'm not connected to the internet which clearly I am.

In that case, try unpairing and re-pairing your Apple Watch and iPhone.

The Apple Watch app on your iPhone takes backups of your watch automatically, including a fresh backup when unpairing via the app. When setting it up again after unpairing, choose to restore your watch from backup when offered the option by the Apple Watch app. Most data and settings will be restored, except for: calibration data, synced playlists, cards used for Apple Pay on your watch, watch passcode.

I'm having the same problem. Have noted all prior advice and rebooted both the phone and watch twice. Apple Watch app tells me that my software (1.0.1) is up to date. Original problem (yesterday) was that the app showed an update was available and I (apparently) successfully downloaded but the verification went on for hours and never completed. Have been connected to WiFi and watch has been on the charger for all attempts.

I had all these same issues as the rest of you, 1.0.1 was latest, rebooted multiple times, tried resetting Bluetooth, was told my phone wasn't connected to the internet...all of it.

What finally fixed mine was going into Profiles on the Watch App and deleting the Apple iOS 9 Beta Profile, rebooting both the phone and the watch again, then it finally found the watchOS 2 update. It is installing the update as we speak.
