Ios 9 cant enable mobile data for application(s)?

Hey Apple, please it's time to do something. Many users have the same issue after upgrade to iOS 9, including me.

You're not alone on this, l'll wait a little longer as am mostly on wifi and the apps l need for cellular are still turned on.

TThis is a major BUG that must be fixed NOW.

I have iPhone 6

I changed some of the steps based on the post here for ios7.x.x. (iOS 7 cellular data settings won't save on iPhone 4s???)

For this, you'll need:

• iTunes
• iBackupBot (http://www.icopybot.com/itunes-backup-manager.htm)

  don't worry about registration, you won't need it

Steps:

1. Disable Find My Phone in Phone icloud settings
2. Disable iPhone Passcode
3. Make a complete iOS backup using itunes

   make sure NOT TO ENCRYPT the backup, otherwise iBackupBot can not use it.

4. Open up iBackupBot
5. Navigate to your newest backup on the left top space. to be safe, right click on the backup and choose Duplicate.
6. Go through the file hierarchy until you reach

   WirelessDomain/Library/Databases/

7. Delete the CellularUsage.db file from your backup.
8. Restore from the same backup (without the cellularusage.db) using iTunes.
9. After complete restoring, i went to settings, flipped every single "Use cellular data for:" toggle on. (Flipped On to Off and Off to On)
10. Restart the phone, go to settings and turn back on everything under "Use cellular data for:". (when you close and view the settings again, some is gonna be back to off position.)
11. try to use cellular on one of the app which shows cellular off.

Well at least I now know these post are being read...

I have the same issue..

Is the above the official fix to this problem, I don't have access to iTunes .. Is there any updates due.

well I did a full restore, lost all my app saved data and still problem persists. going back to my Samsung until apple fixes this, I need cellular connection for work.

NOT WORKING. Phone crashed. Had to reboot and not working anymore.

Hey @ cheeks1988, can you confirm you did a clean install and set up as new phone (i.e. Not restored from a backup)?

Even after doing this, the issue persists?

I've tried all the proposed solutions to resolve this issue on iOS9. None of them worked.

I downgraded to iOS8 using the instructions here:

I'm back to the old and stable iOS8 for now, till Apple confirms the iOS9 bugs have been fixed.Of course, I lost all my settings, and App groupings etc, and a colossal waste of time as well.

Shame on you Apple.

For all us users, follow the steps outlined in that link, and get back to a worry free stable iOS.

I did a clean restore with the downgrade, then restored from my last iOS 8 backup, which restored all my settings. If you backed up your phone to your itunes before you installed iOS 9, you should be able to restore all your settings from that backup.

Exact same issue for me. Same as everyone else. It's 10:30AM Tuesday, September 22nd and still no fix from Apple. Waiting....

tried every thing reset network reset all setting restore from itunes and restore from recovery mode nothing worked every time talk to apple support they dnt know how to fix the problem and i dnt need to go back to ios 8.4.1 coz iam afraid of the steps of donig that
