Battery Drain and Touch ID failure

I have an iPhone 6 and recently I updated to iOS 9.3.3 and since then I've been facing sudden battery drain issues and Touch ID failure. A minor one and a half hour of usage causes the battery to drain to 4%. I've attached a few screenshots of the issues I'm facing.

Tried all the following steps but to no avail

1) Hard Reset (holding the Sleep/Wake button and Home button together)

2) Reset all content and setting and setting it up as a new iPhone

3) Downloaded the new .ipsw file from iTunes and performed a restore but still has the same issues.

Visited the Apple Service Center, even though my device is just 20 days out-of-warranty, they would charge me a bomb just for a check up. My phone has never had any fluid damage or any other kind of accidental damage. I don't understand the reason for this. And if it is the software update that caused my hardware failure, I think Apple is liable to replace my device free-of-cost.

Read a lot of posts on the Communities site but no solutions. A lot of people have been facing this issue. Its hard time Apple solves this issue. Some of them are here :

Same issue is happening with my phone also after updating to IOS 10.3.2. Apple support is not fixing this. This is the worst support from the leading manufacturer/brand. If I assume, that there is hardware issue with the touch id of my phone, but it is hard to believe that it happened for hundreds of users as well and that definitely means, touch ID hardware is of poor quality. In any case, this raises questions on Apple Brand, which is the favorite brand of users.

Another weird thing is, if touch id scanner is not working, they need to change the complete display which costs approx 50 % of the New Iphone (current value). Iphone 6 prices are depreciated to half in these 2 years, but the cost of the hardware part is still same for the users...

Same issue for me following the 9.3.4 update. Sudden Touch ID failure, battery life reduced by about 50%, and phone runs much warmer. I tried a hard restart and erase and restore just as you did with no change. Took my phone in to the Genius Bar, and even with manager involvement they refused to repair or replace the phone under warranty.

No clue how these issues could be caused by a software update, but the correlation seems to be there. I'm very disappointed my phone has been damaged by a recommended manufacturer's software update and Apple isn't stepping up to fix it!
