I went to a chat session and they directed me to http://www.apple.com/feedback/ to let them know that we want the TRASH ALL function returned. We do NOT some workaround, just put the TRASH ALL back in IOS10
The more people who respond the quicker it will be returned to our phones

Who is WE exactly? I don't want that function back, I can easily log into my email on a web browser and delete the emails I want and it will reflect on my Apple devices...
So speak for yourself and not the general masses.
Or you could log in to your mail in Mail on your Mac and delete them there (assuming it is a modern email account, not some POP thing)
You weren't the only one, I still have an iPad running 9.3.5, it does not (and never did) have a Trash All command, at the bottom or anywhere else for that matter.
WE do want it back. If you don't want it, you are not forced to use it, but WE do want it back.
WE don't want t go to some other device to delete unwanted email messages - we want to do it QUICKLY, EASILY, FAST

very true.... but in this day and age, that take too long for some people, we live in a time where everything needs to be done quickly......
I can open Mail in far less than a second, far quicker than I can browse to an email provider account. It gets worse as soon as I actually try to do anything as well.

LOL.... true...
My fingers are killing me trashing all emails.
PLEASE BRING DELETE ALL BACK!!!!!!!!!
😮It's definitely missing now. I waited forever for that function and was super excited to finally get it. Now its not An option again!
TThere very much WAS a trash all option under edit that is very much gone
Yes it most definitely did - I used it daily. In the UK it was labelled "Delete All" not "Trash All".
You had to go into the individual mail box (not the Unread list).
Then when you clicked on Edit there was a "Delete All" option in the bottom right corner. It was super useful. It appears to have gone in iOS 10 ðŸ˜
It's gone - see this thread for explanation and a way to log feedback/request with Apple --> iOS 10 mail app move all/trash all
Yep, it's gone and that is super annoying, along with other clunky quirks with this new OS that I am stumbling upon the more I use it.
