It's the first time it happens to me, after updating to the latest IOS the phone started working wrong, the screen freezes, it turns off alone and it opens apps and chats without touching the screen. I think it's a problem of the update as many iphone 6 an iphone 6 plus are having the same issue. I tried almost everything but it didn't worked.
I'll be very grateful if you can solve it.

Had the same problem, getting worse from day to day, but it looks like an issue with TouchID and/or Passcode!
I use TouchID to unlock the iPhone and the Passcode (4 Digits).
Yesterday i disabled both: Settings ==> TouchID & Passcode ==> entering 4 Digits ==> iPhone Unlock slider to off ==> Turn Passcode Off
Now almost every tap on the screen resulted in screen freeze (a real nightmare!), but i was able to go to Settings ==> TouchID & Passcode again and turned the Passcode on. Now i had to enter 6 Digits(!!) for a new passcode.
I deleted the finger prints, made new ones, and turned TouchID to on again.
Since then not a single freeze!
I have had the same issue after installing new 10.3.1 update. I don't see anywhere in this communication where Apple has said that they plan on fixing these bugs.
I am having same issue. Tried all the resets/etc. Still not working...
i have got the same problem. It is solved by installing 10.3.2 beta 4. All other solutions was useless.

I tried updating to 10.3.2 Beta 4 and 5. Did not work.
I tried turning on the Analytics. Did not work.
Even tried the cover the camera. Did not work.
Still no workable solution
Ditto here. Tried all possible troubleshooting - nothing has worked.
Just wanted to add another number to this problem so Apple knows how many of us are having this same issue.
The same problem we experience with new iOS 10.3.1 on my iPhone 6s and my partner's iPhone 6
I am also facing the same issue.Since the phone is out of warranty, they ( Service Centre)are simply putting this as a hardware issue and not helping to sloves
Same here and for everything they are claiming it a as hardware issue.
Not helpful. Other than this 10.3.1 update, there has been nothing wrong with my phone. Please address the issue.
Not maybe, it's exactly what they are doing and I feel like suing.

Apologies to all I gave hope to about enabling analytics being a solution. Unfortunately the problem does reappear from time to time and even stopped me answering a phone call.
Sadly the new update has made the problem worse.
The latest update seems to have fixed it for me. I have not yet had any freezes since the update. Fingers crossed !
