Where are my apps in the new iTunes?
iTunes seem to have update itself and now my Apps have disappeared. Where are my apps in the new iTunes (v 12.7.0.166)?
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), 16 GB Ram; 480 GB SSD

Thank you all for clarifying this.
To Apple's software developers - this is literally THE DUMBEST and most ridiculous decision you guys have made. I assume Jonny Ives had nothing to do with this UI change - I'm an industrial designer myself and any self-respecting designer would never do something stupid like that. The ability to manage apps in Itunes, on my desktop, with my mouse on a large monitor wasn't just a great feature, it was essential, expected, and natural. Remember guys - when you release new updates you're supposed to make your product BETTER, NOT WORSE. You've just made it decidedly worse. And to add insult to injury, you've totally skipped any notices, explanations or anything to just clue in millions of us who updated Itunes that app management feature is gone. Talk about missing Steve Jobs' thinking when you need it.

Giorgio, spot on! Did you solve it? I have been at it for 1/2 day and cannot seem to find the apps in iTunes 12.7.4.76 on Mac Yosemite 10.10.5. Thanks!
If you had spent 30 seconds reading the thread you just posted to you could have saved yourself a half a day. Apple hasn't supported apps in iTunes 12.7.x for almost a year. if you read the thread now you will even find workarounds.
Lawrence, thank you. Would you kindly save me the trouble of going through the thread to find the solution only if it is not too much trouble for you. Not to be lazy, not my style, but because I have two elder and ill pets that I take care of around the clock. Thank you!
NOT ONLY CAN I NOT FIND AND MANAGE MY APPS ON MY COMPUTER, I AM FRUSTRATED WITH KNOWING WHAT APPS I'VE ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS AND WHICH ONES NEED TO BE UPDATED. Prior to this mess all I had to do was plug my phone/ipad to my computer and everything occurred automatically. I thought I was just being dumb but I see many others dislike this as well.
How exactly does this IMPROVE anything?
1. The phone will tell you when an app needs to be updated. You don't have to do anything. Just open the App Store app and tap Updates.
2. Go to Settings/iTunes & App Stores and turn on the switch for Automatic Updates and you never have to worry about updating.
3. You can see which apps you have accumulated by opening the App Store app on your phone, Tapping your icon in the upper right, then Purchased.
Problems solved!
I did. Hope the rest of you do too... Have you tried to find and manage your entire library of purchased apps?? Good luck.
Yes, I already went there 🙂
They re not in the new iTunes.
I believe it tells you to re download them, if you want them on your computer.
Well said, Milqi. Be sure to send your feedback to Apple. It does no good to only vent about this issue here. See: Feedback - iTunes - Apple.
See Managing apps with iTunes 12.7 or later. Install iTunes 12.6.3 to restore the familiar app management tools.

See Managing apps with iTunes 12.7 or later. The intention is that you now manage apps entirely on the device. If you wish to manage apps in iTunes you can install iTunes 12.6.3.6.
