iphone 8 poor/sensitive mic during call

Totally Agree!! Apple is going down hill if you ask me. There is a Huge issue with their products (iphones) and they deny it. Samsung is going to prosper like crazy. Just think, they were slowing all of our phones on purpose to get more revenue. Hmmmmm, pretty shady company policy if you ask me. Then they get caught and we have to fork out more money, What?? Yea ridiculous. Havent they heard of customer service and the word Recall. Take care of those who made you Billionaires. On a lighter note, What Color is Everyones Phones? All of my Wife's Phones have been White and and Rose Gold and has had Zero issues. All of mine have been Black, Silver or Gray and I have had issues big time. So just curious? Sounds like Apple has a Huge batch of bad phones, even when a replacement is made. Again this is getting so OLD Apple. Fix our problems, well your problems that we are dealing with ! Yea right....!!! Apple needs to fix these phones. I'm not paying a dime for their crap production batch we all got are are getting. This is such a stinking joke!!!!!!!!!! 1,000.00 phone and it cant even do a simple call !! Who really cares that a stinking Emoji moves, whoopeee, i need a phone to act like a phone !!! I have this same problem Apple tech agreed that I sound like I was in a tunnle and I was sitting still not moving full bars holding the phone like I have since my first iphone the iphone 3. Apple gave me a new phone still happens people everyday all day long say they can not hear me. My only work around is to use speaker phone. The microphone works great on Voicememos and other tests. I have tried turning off noise cancellation still same thing.

Two family members upgraded to new iPhone 8's via AT&T over the weekend and tested them out by calling me and them switching between normal and speakerphone. The loudness is fine at my end in both modes.

Apple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are listening, which i am sure you are! Fix our Phones! All of us on this forum are experiencing this stupid simple issue. Our phones can function as basic PHONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont want everyone around me hearing my call on speaker! I dont always have my head phones plugged in either. Fix the Problem. YES, there is a Big Problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried everything! and No solution

Ok. I had the same problem and i talked to apple service, they told me to do this:

First upgrade to the last version

Second do reset network settings

Third reset all settings

Last erase all content and settings.

Dond forget to backup the iphone

After every step try to see if it helped.

Apple’s plan is to tire you out until you just get used to wearing headphones. That’s what happened to me after trading in my phone, restore, reset, reboot exhausting they even told me to change carriers. Exhausting, I think next they will tell me to wear a tinfoil hat in public. Am I on candid camera?

Apple, Quit removing my posts! You all need to know what you are doing to all of us! Dishonest Apple gets caught Slowing down our Expensive Iphones!! Hmmm, great business model. Force us to upgrade, Apple got caught, oh then they make us Pay them 29.00 more $ to fix what they did!! Hahahah, makes sense. NOT! Fix these issues or we are all leaving your products. Apple isnt the only smart phone out there. Samsung is always the first to come out with new features then Apple copies them. I'm switching to Samsung!!!! Exactly, I dont get it...These phones are Super expensive and we cant even use them like a phone! Again, denial from Apple. They must have a ton of these phones on hand that are not working that they are giving to us as a bandage. Sure sounds like there really isnt a fix...........Frustrating that they are not standing by us and their products. My iphone 8 Plus still is acting up on a call. Love the features of the iphones but this is pushing me to consider switching....

They gave me a new phone to try to fix. The tech on phone agreed with how I sounded, after a factory reset did not work they said to make an appointment at the genius bar where the tech there gave me a new phone. Problem is still happing but they are trying big time. Now we are testing turning off noise cancellation and revisted after using for a week or two. It might have fixed the problem, but only 3 days into my using with noise cancellation off. Thus far I have not yet had someone say I sound like I am in a tunnle.

Yea, we already tried that one....Zero difference. We've tried everything on this forum and more and still not change. This is ridiculous how we are all trying to help each other, Apple needs to send out a software update for this particular problem to fix it. Nothing is working APPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been screaming that for months now!!!! No one is listening. They keep denying there is a problem. yea right!. I may be switching to Samsung!! I'm sick of this. hahahhaha, once again, Apple is watching this forum. just got an email that they deleted my last comments. they see the truth coming out from all of us that they are not addressing the issues, so they remove my posts. hmmmm, freedom of speech doesnt mean much to them. Having a Huge delay when trying to send a picture from my photo album via a text. My older iphones never had this issue. Apple is heading to the bottom of the barrel, i tell ya. Where is Steve Jobs when you need him. Apple fix these software issues! Our phones dont work! Nothing is helping. Oh, and now my Apple Watch wont pair with my new iphone 8 plus. it sure was before the latest and greatest software update. Apple get your act together!!!!! You are losing customers big time this year!
