Have been meaning to post this for a while - the issue is not the phone. It’s the flip case. When you fold it back, it covers the rear mic and the phone thinks your voice is the background noise (hence trying to cancel it out).
I have tried calling without folding the cover and multiple people confirmed my voice was crisp.
Neither am I!!! It is horrible
I would like to change mine, but they fob me off all the time , fed up now
It’s a leather wallet type - fold over type with credit cards one side and a thin plastic nest the phone snaps into on the other. I had the same one for my iPhone 6S without any problems.
Best ask at the Apple care center if not solved
It makes no difference with or without, it maybe 3out of 5 calls it happens

I am getting fed up with them now, so have emailed them asking for a new phone, will let you no what happens

It’s was happening on my iPhone 10 after lots of traveling and test on line , they gave me a new phone last Friday, it now happening again, I just don’t know what to do
I thought it was law that if it’s not 100% working when you buy something, they have to give you a refund , l hope they do because I’m getting so fed up with mine 😡
