iPhone X Ghost Touch

Had my iPhone X for about 2 months, and it can’t go more than 8-10 mins of straight use without it moving by its self and disabling me from using it. The bottom half inch of the screen where the touch bad is is useless when this happens. RIGHT NOW IT MOVING. Like I didn’t pay a $1000 to not be able to use this phone. Disappointed. Unhappy. ******.

I mean, for example between December 2017 to January 2018 models iPhone X has same ghost touch problem.

I sent my phone Apple Store in Germany. They repaired it. Just replaced battery and speaker. But, ghost touch problem is still exist. I have to send it again.

I have the same issue with my phone after the ios 11.2 update. It’s very annoying!!

got same issue on a brand new one. opened support claim and sending it now to apple.

Returned back to re-seller for guarantee case. Will share more details once receive it from re-seller.

It may be severe hardware problem from weak hardware.

My phone also have that issue when i use the 11.2 then I update 12.1 now is really good. But problem iis some are says it’s not a software issue. What i do?

You’re fortunate. ATT referred me to the Apple store and they said it must be because I did a restore from my previous iPhone.

I’ve upgraded numerous times since 2006 and never had any issues.

It happens about 4 to 6 times per week - requiring a reboot.

esteemed applex in my case is the same. The problem started on Monday and worsened each day until it became unusable. I'm on vacation and I can not change the iPhone until February but as in all cases I want to change it for a brand new, not a refurbish. in your case the model that you replace starts with "n" or with "m"?. The first letter of the model describes what type of unit it is, whether it is brand new or refurbish. thanks for your answer.

+1 here. I've been having issues with it this week and I bought mine right before the New Years. So it hasn't even been a full month yet. Tried updating new iOS and did the reboots... hope it will work...

Having the same issue with my iPhone X, bought it 2 weeks ago. And now its screen behaves like crazy, like someone is touching it, but it's not. Very annoying... Have latest iOS 11.2.5 installed onboard. I'm very disappointed, did not find any software solutions in the Internet. Going to call my reseller and ask for guarantee.

Does anybody have any updates on own cases? Is there a quick fix that I can apply at home?

I recently have it too, got the phone for3 months. Recorded a video when it happens and it happens quite frequent. Will show this to apple support when i make an appointment. Im on latest firmware as well 11.2.5, prior to it, i had it also and thought upgrade to latest would fix but no
