Custom lyrics not showing iOS 11.2

Be careful.

After a complete désinstallation of iTunes in my iPhone and a complete reinstallation, and after a cable synchronisation with my mac book, I had all my lyrics in my iPhone. I put new songs in my macbook with they lyrics, and after a new cable synchronisation, a lot of lyrics disappeared from my iPhone. I can't find a logic. Some lyrics was there, and someone else not, without logic, After a 3 synchronisation, some lyrics were back again and some other were erased.

I don't understand what's happened.

( I don't use a total sync, but a chosen synch. I check the album's I want to synchronise.)

New update, 11.2.5. Lyrics still broken (display after 5 convoluted steps around 20% of the time).

The shortcut is to just hold your finger on the song for a few seconds and it shows up. You don't have to go throught his process.

Now. Force touch is not available on my iPhone SE.

I seem to be able to see the lyrics however.

When my song plays, I tap on the art and see that lyrics is not present.

I then that on the small art work

I get a list display.

I double tap and hold my finger on the screen.

And lyrics come up.

So terrible!!

This needs to be fixed.

SUBVERSION SINCE IOS 9.0.0, YES: IN 9.0.0, AGAIN IN 9.0.1, AGAIN IN 9.0.2, AGAIN IN 10.0.0, AGAIN IN 10.0.1, IN 10.1.0., IN 10.1.1, AND AGAIN IN 11.0.0, IN 11.0.1, IN 11.1.0, IN 11.1.1., IN 11.1.2 AND STILL IN 11.2.0 - AND NOW ******* PERSISTANT.

Sometimes before it "helped" to copy EVERY SINGLE TRACK MANUALLY AGAIN to iPhone – after EVERY SINGLE SUB-UPDATE again and again. Sometimes it worked, BUT NOW NOTHING WORKS! WORSE, THE VOX PLAYER KNOWS THE LYRICS - THAT PROVES THE DATA IS THERE!

THE BEST OF ALL IS THAT the APPLE IOS 11 CRAP FORCES me to enter two-way authentification codes WITH THE SAME DEVICE – on my MacBook the ******* idiots asks me if I trust the MacBook, on the iPhone it asks me if I trust THE IPHONE!

This issue had been bugging me since ios10. Some custom lyrics just refuse to display on my phone. And sometimes out of a sudden it just magically appears on my phone.

Apple is obviously not doing anything to fix this. So disappointed.

My iphone X, After updating my iphone to 11.2 .1 recently, I noticed I cannot look at my custom lyrics I added via iTunes on my phone anymore. There is no show lyrics button. Why is this? Is this a bug or is this how the app is for the foreseeable future? I am seriously, deeply sad and angry that this feature has been taken away. It was literally the only thing keeping me in iOS.

Same here, I have 12 thousand songs on my iPhone in 5 languages. It had been a tool to learn languages.

Collected and manually inserted all lyrics for years and years now I can't see them.

Disappointment is an understatement.

And If you have the patience to call them is like talking to a 4 year old and repeating the same over and over.

Excellent! Works! This proves that the lyrics are there, that the lyrics functionality is there, and that some fool just did not do his work.

Apple, we pay you for better quality control. If I agree with poor crap, I can use Windows.

Thanks for the procedure! It works great on my iPhone 8 Plus 256GB iOS 11.2.1. However, the procedure does not work on my iPad Pro 9.7", iOS 11.2.1.

Your solution reminds me that even though I've used/owned/bought/programmed many Apple products since 1984 I should get back into the habit of clicking/pressing on everything I see on a screen just to see where it takes me.

Please sssh90, do everyone a favor.

Stop writing that this works.

it simply does not. It is possible via various operations (I know, I posted them with movies) to get the lyrics, but it is ****** inconvenient.

What we need here is a simple reliable popup of the lyrics, no matter what mode we are using to play the music.

This is a very stupid design, Apple. The app design completely disregards the iPhone SE users without 3D Touch. Just changing the interface every now and then is a truly pointless business.

Hey its my problem too on iphon 8. I could see lyrics by 3d touch but thats gone too. Lyrics was the only reason i have iphon since iphon 4. Apple is working very hard to make us n o t. Buy iphon.

APPLE PLEASE GIVE US OUR LYRICS BACK!!!

i feel you man. this issue has going on for far too long. the only reason i can think of is that Apple is deliberately not working on a fix; surely they can't be that dumb to not have come up with a solution after so long? or could they...

So today I got a new update (IOS 11.2.2) hoping will show me the battery health or fix the lyrics on the music app, neither was addressed it.

I guarantee you that if the late Steve Jobs will be alive, this attitude will not be tolerated.....
