After upgrading to iOS 11.2.5 some functions in BMW CarPlay stoped to work properly
- It is not possible to transfer a destination from Apple Maps to BMW Proffesional Nav
- ConnectedDrive cannot connect to vehicle while CarPlay is connected
An iPhone with iOS 11.2.2 is working properly!!!
Dear all,
Yesterday, I updated to iOS 11.2.6 and I have confirmed that the issues I had with Carplay in my BMW have been fixed.
Now I am able to transfer a destination from Apple Maps to BMW Proffesional Nav, and ConnectedDrive is connected to vehicle while CarPlay is connected too.
Communication skills are not the main Apple strength, but they have been fixed the issue in one month or less...

So as seem this is the problem with many peoples when try to update ios 11.2.5 . But im still not really understand clearly that in the Carplay you heard the song connected with your phone via bluthtooth there are have wifi or 3G or not? Or you are hearing the Offline songs? Thanks
Purchased bmw 2018 with $300 CarPlay, updated my iPhone X to the latest update. CarPlay works but freezes and slows down and when using phone feature the calls go out and reconnect again.....help. Do I call bmw or does Apple fix this.

After upgrading to IOS 11.2.5 the fuction which can share Apple Maps to BMW Nav is missing!
I've also noticed that I can no longer hang up an active call using the phone button on my steering wheel. It thinks I'm trying to initiate a call.
I have experienced that too. It appears a message in the Head-Up display "Use Car Play Display"
I’m having a similar problem. The audio is not working at all with CarPlay, cannot make or receive any calls. Has anyone sorted this or is it definitely an update needed? Thanks

How does the Apple Maps to BMW Nav work? I've never heard of it.
Is it possible that 13.3 beta3 does not include the 11.2.6 fixes yet?
Same here with Iphone 7 Plus with IOS 11.2.6
Not happy with this situation.
BMW 2018, CarPlay is working ok with an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 7 Plus.
I recommend you to test with one of these models, from some friend, if the problems persist, go to the BMW dealer.
