iPhone X freezes at end of call

Resolved:

I had the same problem, you need to reset your iPhone, but cannot even do that.

This is what I did to force restart without having to re-install iOS (as apple support suggested)

Settings-General-Reset-Reset network settings

This will force iPhone to restart, and you just need to re-inter WiFi passwords, not hard.

I have the same problem in addition to some other problems that even the guys in the store never know the answer to. So sad to see that the product that I used to love because of its simplicity has turned into product with many problems too complicated to resolve even by IT people themselves.

This latest problem with hanging up calls though is almost too much to take right now and makes me think wether to go for a smartphone from another producer...

This worked for me as suggested above: Restart here: Settings-General-Reset-Reset network settings.

My phone was locked on the phone screen and I could not reboot the device. What I did in the past was drain the battery to "force" a reboot. The solution above is much easier/quicker - What this actually does is reboot my device, which I am convinced is what solved the problem.

when i recive calls on my iphone x

the speakers give like a crashing sound and the phone freez after 2or3 second and cant answer the call

2- other problem the face ID is not working when i try to set it up it says :- face ID is not ailable try to setup face ID later

you can go to General , REset and shut down the phone. and then restart . The call gets cancelled and you are able to receive and make calls instead of doing a full reset.

The re-set through Itunes does not solve the problem as i have done the reset earlier (painful process) and it recurred.

I find that the usually off button press twice quickly brings screen back

My phone stuck at the end of facetime, can’t end the call and can’t make any phone call, can’t power off , other app seems ok to use, please help!

Thanks! I was on a FT call and the red hang up button was nonexistent. I tried to force a shutdown but it just kept returning me to FT. Your suggestion worked! 😀👍

I have done the same and it works ! But this should be working like this or when telephone goes off the ear the screen must return automatic without to tap ??

Have you try to tap the screen twice ? I have done same and works however I don’t know if this is the right procedure or screen must return automatic

Just resetting the "Network Settings" through settings > general > reset fixed mine instantly.

To shut it down go in settings-general-shut down.

Things to try:

1. Settings-General-Reset-Reset network settings

2. If the above didn't work, restore your iPhone with iTunes. Make sure you have the backup.
