Plug-ins not showing up?

So I have FCP, and I've been using it for quite some time, but now recently I have gotten a new laptop and I reinstalled FCP and all of my Transition/Effect plug-ins, however I ran into something really strange. Inside the "Motion Template" folder, there was nothing there like there use to be. No big deal, so I looked it up and many people just said to create your own folders saying "Transitions, Titles, Effects, etc." So I did, but still nothing happened when I reopened my FCP. Am I doing something wrong?

If you had plug-ins installed on your other mac you'll need to install them - if they live inside the Motion Templates folder, they can be placed there manually, but others have installers, or need FxFactory to run.

In recreating the subfolders of Motion Templates, you have to take care with "localizing".

The folders "Motion Templates", "Transitions", "Effects", "Titles" and "Generators" must be named exactly, and "localized": for each of those, press command-I in the Finder, and in the Get Info window, add ".localized" to their names, for example:

Take care to make category folders, and place each template's entire folder inside a category. Categories appear inside FCP X and are a way of grouping related templates.

Below is an example of the correct folder organization (for a transition; for the other types of templates, it is the same thing). Keep in mind that category folders, and folder of each template, are NOT supposed to be "localized".
