iTunes Wi-Fi Sync Enabled but Not Showing on iPhone X

Hey all!

So, since setting up my iPhone X, I have had an issue getting the device to sync and backup over Wi-Fi.

As can be seen below the setting in iTunes has been checked to sync with the device over Wi-Fi, but when going on the device to Settings>General>iTunes Wi-Fi Sync it shows the how to enable Wi-Fi Sync instructions rather than "Sync Now" as it should. As a result the only way to sync the device is through a USB to Lightning cable directly from my iMac.

To make things a little more complicated, the device DOES appear when not plugged into iTunes, it simply doesn't recognize its ability to sync or backup to the iMac. Additionally, it is not device specific, this also happens with a 9.7'' iPad Pro.

All of these devices have been wiped via iTunes (and in the case of the iMac, set up as new as well), but that has also not fixed the issue. I have also submitted this to Apple as a bug report, but hoping someone might have a good fix.

I also have tried other similar suggestionsbut have not had any luck

Thanks so much for your help!
