Wake Word Options for Home Pod

I would love my home pod to make calls for me - but it does not seem to, now I "ask Siri" to call a number - when I am in the same room with my home pod - it does not work on my iphone any more - can you change the wake word on Home Pod?

Homepod can't start a call but can be used as a speaker.
