Magic mouse no longer works in Windows 10 Bootcamp

This used to work perfectly before the, forced, Fall creators update 2017.

Now my magic mouse does not work at all when I boot in to Windows 10. In settings it says it's paired. I can get it to work by turning Bluetooth off then back on. The mouse will then re-pair and work but only if I constantly keep it active. As soon as I stop moving it for more than 3 or 4 seconds it ceases to work again until I turn Bluetooth off then back on again.

I'm thinking this is probably a bug in Windows introduced in the last update but any help would be appreciated.

How do you access the Device Manager in the Windows 10 partition of a Bootcamp Mac when the mouse does not work? I am not using the mac to write this, but a separate Windows 10 p.c. and I cannot even find where you access the Bluetooth settings within Device Manager either, so are there different settings options on the Windows 10 part of a Bootcamp Mac compared to an ordinary Windows 10 p.c? Any help with both these points would be greatly appreciated!

Can you use a wired USB mouse?

If you use a wired mouse, then the Windows Device Manager works identically on a PC and a Mac.
