Updated iOS to 11.2.6 and now my carplay is not working in my Kia Soul.
When I connect using the phone cable it says ipod connected. Doesn't see the phone, can't do anything!
Help. I don't know how to downgrade to 11.2.5. I have never had issue with any update until now.

LOL!! I actually purchased a NEW Apple cord because i thought it was my after Market one.
I have an Audi Q7 and mine does not work with iPhone 8 but works fine with iPhone 7, 6. So don’t think it’s car model, think it’s the upgraded and I phone model combination
That's weird because I have used 3 separate cables and yet it doesn't fix.
In your case it can be a problem of iOS 😕

me too, no restrictions and doesn't work
There is no CarPlay app per se. Go to Settings/General/CarPlay and try Reset.
Otherwise do a Hard Reset for your model of iPh

I got mine to reconnect after freshly downloading a new voice and rebooting my phone
Can you explain how you “downloaded a new voice?” I’ll give it anything a try at this point, since Apple and Chevy are useless and just pointing fingers at each other. Typical Apple crap!
Me too. Took it to the Kia Dealer. They saw it not working but by the time the tech got to it, it started working again. Worked for two weeks and has now stopped again. Very frustrating.
