How do I remap the special features keys on my apple keyboard?

My keyboard have special features on the function keys (screen brightness, sound volume etc), how do I remap these keys to do something different? I want to change the "Launchpad" key to open the dashboard.

how do you turn off media keys AND show function keys on the touch bar? There is a serious bug here. If "Use F1, F2, etc keys are standard function keys" option is checked in System Preferences, pressing the Fn key will show the function keys, but it will also turn them into Media keys. Therefore you still cannot use the fn keys. What's the solution to both: 1) turn off the default media key behavior of the function keys AND 2) show the function keys on the touch bar so that you can actually activate one of them ?

Remapping F keys on Macbook keyboard I am using a 2020 MacbookPro. I use the F keys on the touchbar for some games and find that they are difficult to press accurately. I would like to create a keyboard that I can switch to that has the F keys on the touchbar remapped to some of the physical keys on the keyboard. I have used software to edit the layout of the keyboard but I was not able to remap the F keys. Any solutions would be appreciated.

Setting Smart Keyboard Folio How can I change the settings of my Smart Keyboard Folio? Suddenly, I cannot use the arrow keys for simple navigation (one character left/right or one line up/down) anymore. No idea why.

I thought I would mention "fn + F12" is already assigned to show the Dashboard and you can also set a "Hot Corner" in System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver to trigger the Dashboard.
