how to export cover only as PNG from book?

I'd like to export the front cover of a book I've created in Aperture, complete with the title text, as a PNG - but I can't see how to do it. Is it possible?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

You could do it in two steps.

First create a PDF preview of your book.
1. Select the book project, then use File > Print Book
2. In the Print panel click the PDF button and select "Open in Preview".
3. Set the page range to print only page 1.
When the preview opens in Preview, select the thumbnail of the first page in the sidebar and use "File > Export" to save the first page as a PNG file.
