My Passport for Mac

That would be my My Passport drive in the image.

To get the same results for yours, just do the following:

• Run the Finder app.
• On the Finder menu, select Go > Utilities
• Locate the Disk Utility app, and double-click on it to launch it.
• The Disk Utility will open to its main page and you should see something similar to what I provided.
• Find your My Passport in the left-side of the Disk Utility, and select it.

If you run the Disk Utility, does your WD My Passport show up?

If you go into Finder preferences, you can choose what you want to show on the desktop. Try looking at Finder preferences.

Do you have a 512GB SSD? The report is showing you have used 348GB of disk space, and you still have 150GB of disk space to use.

If you click on the Apple icon, upper left corner in the Menu Bar, go to About This Mac, it will show you all of your system and computer information.

When you plug in your WD My Passport drive into your Mac, is should appear on the Desktop.

If it does not, try unplugging it, and then, plugging it back in. Does it appear on the Desktop now?

Click on the message to cancel it, and then, try re-plugging the drive back in.
