My Passport for Mac

The icon for WD My Passport for Mac doesn't show up on my desktop anymore. I have a Mac Book Pro and it used to show. I just did an upgrade to the Mac OS Apps and now it's gone. Do I have to re-install it or something?

It is still there located in ‘Computer - Heather’s MacBook Pro’. However it resists all my attempts to put it on the desktop. How can I solve this problem please?

Lost iCloud drive icon on Mac desktop. Mac OS 12.3.1, M1 chip Some how I have fat-fingered and lost the iCloud drive icon on my desktop. But I can access everything through iCloud.com, so I haven't lost it. How can I get the icon back? It was handy.

I suggest that you consider making an appointment at your local Apple Store. They typically provide free classes for folks to help them get familiar with using Apple products.
