Honda says the problem with CarPlay not working in their cars is because of bugs on Apple side. I say it is false advertising to say they have CarPlay when it does not work. Honda says Android phones work just fine. How do I get a straight answer.

Is there a bug in iOS 11 that prevents Honda cars from having CarPlay work reliably. Phone loses connection and I have to reconnect the phone several times in a 20 min trip. Sometimes the car display just freezes. Says no device connected why podcast is playing. I have had my Honda Clarity Hydrogen Fuel for over a year and the Carplay has never worked right. Honda says it’s Apple’s problem and Apple says it’s Honda’s. They don’t have a way to work together to solve the problem.


Any idea deal on how to escalate this?
