Woodfield store/wait time lies

Is it me or was the Woodfield store not up to par. I was told the wait time would be 5 min when I walked in between meetings to make an appointment for after my meeting. I waited 45 min. Then had to get up and leave and then they texted me waited 9 min before I asked to change to an appointment bc I was already late For my work appointment. Came after my meeting was told the wait was 2.5 hours. Wasn’t that many more people in the store so guessing that was realistic. I have had apple products for a while but am happy i didn’t get the iwatch with the gps phone built in Bc I am thinking about switching companies all together. I never write reviews but this needs to be said The Apple store in woodfield really let me down as a client today. I talked to Dee on the phone now she is going to mail me out a box to send my watch back in. She may be the only reason I stay with apple. just disappointed I know I won’t get an answer but I hope others read this and know not to go woodfield or not to trust there 5 min when it means around an hour.

You know, I had no intention of insulting you, or as you mention to another user, that I was treating you like you were 3. The fact is we can all empathize with you and your frustration, however since we are not Apple, and the incident is over with, nothing can change what happened. It is over, and continually repeating it is just making you upset all over about something you have no control over.

If you found my comment insulting, I'm sorry. And I will not respond any longer to you, or in this thread.

No apology necessary. Your reaction was how you saw it. My reply was only to supply an alternative way of dealing with text only conversations. More than once, I have had users react badly to posts of my own where even when I go back and read them, I can't see what they do in it.

Here's how that happens. The longer you're here, the flatter your responses get. The reason for that is two things:

1) If you try to be too technical (lots o' jargon), the user complains you're just showing off how smart you are (yes, I have had people say that to me).

2) If you try to lighten up the issue with some humor, then they complain you're not taking their problem seriously, and they're already miserable. Are you trying to make it worse? (yes, I've had that one, too).

So, your style of writing slowly becomes very clinical and flat. And because of that, often taken as smug, or uncaring. Basically, you can't win.
