maps will not talk or go step by step. I have changed the volume setting and I have made sure locations was on and accepted when maps is being used. i have seen others that asked the question and the response was to pull up the route and hit the audio but it is not there. I have a iPhone 6 Plus and have updated my iOS. the directions will be given it just won’t vocalize or go one step at a time
I did all that and still doesn’t work. Everything I look up says that when Set destination to push up and there should be overview details audio and other things on there to choose from. When I pull up all that is there is overview and details.

To get detailed turn-by-turn directions, swipe up on the menu while you're navigating and tap Details. You can also see your trip overview and adjust your Navigation Voice settings from the same menu bar.
Which country are you in?
I’ve tried different destinations. If I find the place on the map and touch it such as an establishment it will pop up directions and when I click go the audio kicks in but not if I put in an address. I just downloaded a different versio
USA. I figured it out. On mine you have to touch the destination then hit go for it to do. Thanks
