Show company name in contacts

Hey there, dear Apple!

So many people asking about how to show company name in contact list!

When are you guys going to implement this simple but very useful feature? You should listen to your frustrated users! I don't believe it's something very difficult to implement after FaceID in iPhone X!

For instance, I have 3 persons in my contacts called "Jose Luis". They are working in different companies and when I want to call "Jose Luis" I must open each contact to select the correct person! it´s a nightmare!

Do I really need to write Company name in the last name field to distinguish users? When will iPhone stop being an iPod with the possibility of making calls?

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely yours, frustrated and annoying user!

I am not "Apple". I do not work for Apple, and never have. Like most folks here, I am an Apple user.

No!

You can simply write the Company name, and completely omit the first and last name.

You solved your own problem.

You can put anything you want in the name fields.

I've never put first name only in the first name field. I prefer to search contacts by first name, so all my contacts are as follows:

Mary Smith (both entered in the first name field) As opposed to Smith, Mary

Since you do distinguish first name, then last name, in the first name field put Mary - IBM then her last name in the last name field, which would be displayed as Smith, Mary - IBM
