Email said from Apple and asked if I made listed charge. I checked NO.. Then asked for verification information, seemed reasonable. Filled in + SS# then asked for me Apple credit card. Don't have one. became suspicious, back tracked and erased everything. BUT??

You have been scammed. Apple will never ask for your SSN. Whether or not the scammers got your SSN depends on if they can capture information before you submit it. I would change my Apple ID and password just in case.
What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support I suggest doing this before you change your Apple ID or password.

Answered email/said Apple asking if I made charge $46.00 I said no. asked me for verification including my SS#, then asked for my Apple credit card info. never had one. suspicious back tracked and erased everything. Now I don/t know??? Advise
