I have been doing quite a number of projects in imovie and then sharing them to my YouTube Channel. I have done 16 different video projects in the past two weeks. I did the exact same thing today and I have done the other 16 times, but it will not allow me to share my project. When I click on the "share" every is white and does not allow me to share.
Any ideas why?
What operating system and what version of iMovie are you using?
It might be that You Tube has made a change to its online uploader that iMovie hasn't adjusted to. That can happen with third party uploaders.
The most reliable way to share to You Tube is to first share to your desktop and then drag the shared movie into You Tube's upload window.
Also, try opening iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys, and selecting to delete preferences in the box that appears. See if that solves it.

Thank you for your help. In the end, I deleted everything and started over and it shared it fine. I am not sure what happened but it all worked out in the in the end.
