The title says it all, really.
Since I've updated my iPhone to iOS 11.3, audio intermittently skips.
It does this with both the native music player and Spotify. Never had it before to this degree, but it's doing it quite frequently now (once every 15-ish minutes or so). Audio files haven't changed and the music appears to play normally in iTunes on my Mac. Any ideas?

I've been listening to music now for over 5 hours today on podcasts and Google music with both Bose bluetooth headphones and the original apple wired earphone with no interruptions to my music streamed and saved.
A full restore of 11.3 via iTunes will fix the issue. Looks like some bug from the original upgrade which I doubt will be fixed in any future patches.
I also have this issue, but it bugs me the most when I'm on the phone with someone. Suddenly I'm talking with Max Hedroom.
Oh no. I was really hoping 11.4 would fix this issue. I’ve had iphones since the 4 and I can’t believe apple (that created the ipod!) have screwed up such a basic feature.
THIS, for me as well. Had high hope 11.4 would fix. How on earth did you mess up audio playback!?
I just updated to 11.4 this morning and the skipping of the music keeps occurring. Pfff, I hate this!
I had the same problem after updating from icloud backup. What did it for me was (1) making a backup to disk, not icloud (2) erase completly to factory settings and then (3) restore from disk backup.
I have 11.4 as well and the skipping continues.
happens on the iphone 8 as well... sorry to disappoint.

Download the new 11.4.1, just released on Monday (7/9/2018), it seems to have solved the issue for me. I have yet to test it on CarPlay, but headphones have been working smoothly all afternoon.
Still broken for me on 11.4.1 sadly. Iphone 6S with earphones.
The problem started with 11.41 for me on an IPhone 6.
Still an issue for me following the 11.4.1 update, unfortunately. 😟
