Problems with voice during CarPlay calls since iOS 11.3

Exact same problem here.

VW GTI 2017, apple cable, iphone 7 plus ios 11.3.1

Did everything suggested no avail.

Bluetooth calls fine. Carplay calls, can hear caller fine but the sound they get from me is unusable.

Avec un iPhone 11.2.6 ça marche niquel

It cannot be just software. The other day I tested the same phone you have, iPhone SE on 11.3.1 and no problems at all. I also have an iPhone 5s running on 8.4 and it has this problem... a 3 year old operating system. How come Apple cannot rub out this bug? I think it's caused by more than 1 variable... perhaps cellular firmware or headunit firmware in combination with OS firmware.

Same here and its related but Apple will not admit that. They are too busy gouging us for more money to upgrade to a new phone. My relationship them is ending if the new version doesn't fix it, I have an iPhone 7+ 256GB and I have an LG V20 crap Android Phone that works flawlessly with Android Auto.

Apple can't even call me back, no warranty left and I refuse to buy another Apple product until this is fixed or acknowledged it isn't important to them.

To all Jvc and Kenwood Head unit owners with dual USB ports... Please try this and confirm that you are able to play music off your flash disk whilst flash disk is plugged in at the same time have your iphone connected to the second USB port and be able to receive and make calls without the Head unit behaving erratically

I am running 11.4 on SE and suddenly lost phone audio yesterday on Mongoose Q2 Apple Carplay installed in Toyota Landcruiser.

Everything was fine before then.

Bluetooth does not help.

Hoping a solution comes through very soon.

I am still experiencing CarPlay and Bluetooth phone quality issues after upgrading from IOS 11.3 to 11.4. I hear others fine but my voice is garbled or stuttering to everyone I call.

Very frustrating.

We’ve got a new Audi Q7 and I upgraded my phone to iOS 12 beta. We still cannot use the phone while using CarPlay. C’mon Apple. Just cause your a Trillion Dollar company now doesn’t mean you shouldn’t solve this.

I have the same problem. Tried everything. Now on 11.4.1 and still no fix!

SEAT Alhambra, iPhone 6 and apple lightning cable. My dealer charged me £200 for the code to activate this crap. Pretty embarrassing really, I now have to stick to Bluetooth in case I have to take a call.

I have the same problems then you all ! upgrade 11.3.1 did not fixe the issue

I am from canada, it seem thar Germany have quite a few cases any other country ?
