[Problem Solved]

Dear all!

If you are having the same problem as disscussed above, please find a professional iPhone repair store and ask them to check the audio IC, it’s a tiny little chip on the mother board.

I got my iPhone 7 Plus audio IC replaced today for ¥400 (around US$60), and the problem is solved! All phone functions back to normal, phone calls normal, voice memo working, etc.

Tips: If your phone is still under warranty, please search help from Apple Store. If not, get the audio IC checked, and most likely it will work for you as well.

Again, this is not a software problem, it’s the hardware issue, another new update won’t fix it!

trust now disappearing on product , specially service always rude and blaming.

after 8 years, thinking to move with other product , because of rude reply and not accepting fault at all

I have the same problem with an iphone 7 plus that apple sent me to replace the old damaged phone.

I requested a repair from Apple who sent me a refurbished instead of repairing mine.

This reconditioned phone received (paid € 380.21) after 3 months presented the problem of the gray button and the malfunction of the microphone. I deduce that Apple sent me a product with an occult flaw. After contacting apple support, I am asked to send back the replacement phone to check if the replacement product was defective, but instead of replacing the phone under warranty, apple take another € 380.21 to send me another phone (which I don't I had requested).

Specific to apple that I was not willing to spend an additional € 1 on the phone already paid instead they charge me another € 380 ... incredible.

A phone that came out of the laboratory cannot fail after 3 months, nor can a microphone or speaker cost 400 €.

Obsolescence is already annoying after 2 years, let alone after 3 months.

No hope. Two days ago while I was at work I have tried to listen some music with my iphone 7. And I have noticed that the headphones weren't working anymore and with that when I was calling neither me or the receiver could listen anything. After that I thought was an upgrade on my iphone so I have upgraded it to 13.4. After that the phone restore itself alone and I have lost everything. The problem was stil present. I tried to call the assistance and they told me that if the problem is not one of the listed their repair/replace of apple issues I would not get anything and all the cost will be up to me. Of course my iphone was out of the warranty. So long story short.... If your phone has this problem and it is out of the warranty you won't get any money back... of course this was my story maybe yours will be better :)
