How did you fix this? This happened to me barely last monday. It drives me crazy I dont know what to do. Nothing I read online helps. I noticed it happened after I upgraded my phone to ios 11.4

Hi there,
My iphone 7plus has the same problem after updating to 11.3 last week.
I connected my phone to Bluetooth earphone once, and after that my phone cannot make any calls. The speaker option is grey and cannot hear any sound.
Music and videos are fine through the speaker.
Voice memo not working.(red record button grey out)
I can only make calls through Bluetooth earphone connected now.

Apple just replaced my phone free for this issue, even though it was out of warranty. Take your phone to the nearest apple store for repl

See when I went to the store last week they told me apple stopped fixing this problem 2 weeks ago. Sounds like apple is giving us all the run around.
Updating to iOS12 Beta now, will post if it fixes the problem. I have Applecare and made an appointment if it doesn’t.
How do you update your phone to go back without losing importnat info on your phone?
There doesn't seem to be any consistency in how Apple remedies the issue either, some people get new phones, some don't, $360 for just a repair is ridiculous.
Same issue happened to mi iPhone on July 20th, my local Apple Store (Barcelona, Spain) gave me a brand new phone. great service!
Call customer service and demand to speak to a supervisor. They can approve a “one time” replacement. I finally got my issue resolved after sieajung to a supervisor.
Apparently some out of warranty customers were offered free replacements but that has changed...

By the way. I have an iPhone 7 and it also works for me for a couple of minutes after hard restarts.
