Hi there,
My iphone 7plus has the same problem after updating to 11.3 last week.
I connected my phone to Bluetooth earphone once, and after that my phone cannot make any calls. The speaker option is grey and cannot hear any sound.
Music and videos are fine through the speaker.
Voice memo not working.(red record button grey out)
I can only make calls through Bluetooth earphone connected now.
My speaker is greyed out as well and I can’t receive or send phone calls. I could use my Bluetooth but not the actual phone. Can someone please help me
sending out the third party repair shop for $50 is my best choice than wasting two trips to apple store.
Try upgrading to IOS12 - it worked for my phone
Hi - try upgrading to IOS 12 as I found this worked and suddenly my "fault" that was going to cost £320 has gone!
Unfortunately I have upgraded it to IOS 12 and still no luck :( thanks for the advice though!
Same - I’ve also upgraded to 12 with no results. You’re telling me the best Apple can do is charge $320 for a dated device that they don’t even stand behind? Very upsetting.
Same here! I’m now a proud owner of a non-apple phone. They are going to become another Spirit air eventually...
Apple is fooling it customers if they have knowledge about the issue y it is selling phones in market as it should replace the phone in the market
I think this should be another class action. Apple is clearly being shady.

They removed a comment posting about a possible class action on the issue. They said it wasn’t constructive. Well, their customer service hasn’t been constructive.
We ended up calling AT&T & they sent us a refurbished 7 because we had a warranty with them. Apple provided to be a dead-end and poor customer experience.
