facebook issues after High Sierra update 10.13.4?

I'm having issues with my facebook timeline and newsfeed not loading since updating to High Sierra 10.13.4 last week. It was working fine before this. I have no problems on iPad or phone, so can only conclude it was this new update I did on my fairly new MacBook Air. I've deleted cache, etc...but didn't help. I've only had it for a few months, so I'm still trying to get used to it after using a pc forever. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 😕 ( have also contacted facebook, but as usual they are no help.)
