High CPU usage and High Fan Speed

Hello,

About a month ago I bought a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) with 16 GB Ram and i7 3.5 CPU so I don't have problems with CPU usage and RAM usage.

But i am having a lot of trouble with it, fans are high speed even its not to much things running, CPU get above 100% just importing a lot of photos to iPhoto, or downloading files from DropBox when I was setting up it.

I am a developer and when launching the simulator I have also this CPU problem...

Already did SMC and nothing happened. There is any way I can test if my CPU is ok?

What should i do?

Is this normal?

Use Activity Monitor on your Mac

Runaway applications can shorten battery runtime, affect performance, and increase heat and fan activity.

Should the above not prove helpful, then make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple.

Depending on what the "simulator" is, it certainly could cause such behavior. Usually these issues are caused by errant third party software. You can see what is running "under the hood" with EtreCheck.
