icloud for windows keeps asking for password

Hi! I'm suffering this problema too, Can anyone send me a new link of the old version of ICloud (6.2.2) ? The link in the thread is pointing to the new one > "iCloud Control Panel for Windows 7.5 "

I hope Apple fix this soon , It is really frustrating!

Mine started doing it a week ago, but with even more odd problems. A day after it started there, it was also doing it on my iMac and phone. After resetting the password to no avail, I reset the phone and iMac. Seemed to have stopped it there, but still doesn't stop the password box from coming up on the PC, and it is showing up in iCloud as being separate logins from separate PC's every time, over and over again. Not sure what they are using for records, but this makes zero sense.

Somebody please upload the 6.2.2 installer to OneDrive/GoogleDrive/Mega/etc

Been there. Done that. It’s a Windows API problem. What you mention is ANOTHER annoying issue. Why multiple devices with the SAME HOST NAME are created each time one does a BIOS update is beyond me. Even Microsoft figured out how to “fingerprint” a PC when a user wanted to install Windows 10 on the same machine repeatedly.

I have exactly the same issue, Windows 10 on a Dell Latitude. This started a few days ago and it is very annoying.

I have the same on my Surface. I'm prompted for the password for iCloud when the PC starts up and then an hour later it re-prompts me to re-authenticate, and so on and so on .............

The same here on desktop running windows 10. It started maybe a week ago and is extremely annoying
