iCloud email in Outlook 2016
Done setup as shown multiple times. Outlook 2016. Keep getting password dialog for imap.mail.me.com and using identical credentials to icloud setup fails.

Are you using an app specific password for your iCloud account in the Outlook password field?

To generate app specific passwords, your Apple ID must have either 2 Step Verification, or 2 Factor Authentication.

Your screen shot clearly shows the email domain as @daino.com. That may be your Apple ID, but it is not where Apple sends you email. Apple has no ability to deliver your mail there via their servers.
@daino.com has their own servers and you need the IMAP and SMTP settings for it. It appears to be your corporate domain, so I suggest you consult whoever set that up for you.
My Apple ID is an @gmail address but I don't get mail directly from Apple servers at that address. I have a matching @icloud email address that would require an app specific password in Outlook.
Since June of last year, 3rd party apps. like Outlook, have required an app specific password to access iCloud mail.
I believe simply signing in to Outlook in iCloud for Windows no longer passes your Apple credentials to the Apple servers. It used to, but does not anymore.
Have never used an app specific password before and never had this problem before. I had to create a new profile. The old one worked fine for icloud email, but another imap account had a folder structure issue solved by using a new profile. Always just let icloud add the icloud email account to outlook through the icloud app and always worked until now.
OK, did everything recommended... went to my apple ID, set an app specific password, entered it in Outlook, and keep getting the same result after several attempts - just keeps coming back with password request dialog
