I have tried ways to solve this issue, but am unsuccessful at getting touched to work again after iOS 11.4 update.

Oh no after resetting the ipad the touch id worked for awhile. now I have to reset my ipad because the touch id is not working again.
My touch id is not working after update 11.4 what was the issues???
UPDATE: Today is officially dead my touch id function. I resetted it but now it will not recognize the prints when trying to unlock the phone. Have to enter passcode to unlock. Frustrating.
i had the same problem with 11.4 on my iPhone 6
which became worse after i updated to 11.4.1
i erased my fingerprints and then re-entered them
for the moment things are good
