iOS 11.4 battery drain
is it just me or does iOS 11.4 drain battery life faster 🤔🤔
In my case there is no improvement switching off the handoff feature.

yeah this IOS 11.4 is the worst to be honest I thought maybe my 6s battery is scraped so I changed it as well still it drains like anything. the worst update ever and also sometimes it makes my phone hotter.

I can watch my % tick off. Need to constantly have it plugged in so I can keep a decent level of charge. All this started after the new IOS 11.4 update.
My ipadpro 10.5 battery has about 1/3 less use time between charges.
Powering off (upper right button) and back on, seems to work very well- did it a couple hours ago- no change at all in battery %. 10 fingers crossed.
same issue here. after 11.4 update the battery drain is insane.
my i5s slept with 100% and woke up with 48%! Bizarre. I can not work that way, because I use the phone for this.
Charged to 100% last night, checked this morning, 1% remaining!

SE had the same problem, nothing seemed to help but suddenly, after a few days, suddenthe battery live is as it used to be. I don’t know why, but I’m satisfied again.
I had this problem, but switching from 5G wifi to 2.4G stopped the insane battery drain. Hope Apple fixes this with their next update, so we don't need to use this workaround.
Interesting is also that my ipad pro 10.5 charging takes more time than before. Iphone 7 battery still drains much faster than prior iOS 11.4
The fix for me is to connect to 2.4GHz wireless networks.
Yes Right, If you on the low power mode still some background process running.
Exact same experience! Pathetic - what could they have added that is consuming the battery? And they should at least give us a choice to turn off all the "crap" we don't need.
