Macbook Air 128 GB Windows Installation

So I got a Macbook Air as a gift and I'm new to MacOS. Icame to know that I could use Windows on the Macbook as well through BootCamp. I've understood the process but I realised that 128 GB might not be enough as per some other questions asked here. I just want to use Windows for study work and a few light games. Can you pls tell me how much space would each OS take and how much would I have as spare.

Your windows partition should be about 60GB. You also may want to consider installing macOS on an external disk, and using the entire 128GB for Windows.

Another option is to use a Virtualization engine - Fusion, Parallels or VirtualBox - if you need it for light duty. Games may or may not work well in a VM.

Yeah I created a partition of about 65 GB. That was the maximum The Boot Camp let me do. Anyways, I've got around 57 GB out of which I have 43GB for usage on Windows now and I think that should be quite enough for me, because I won't be using too much of applications or creating data. Thanks for your concern.
